Important New Mount Information.
Mercruiser no longer sells the old standard rear motor mounts.
These are the mounts that are press fitted into the flywheel housing through which the rear bolts pass.
The old mounts were 99297A1 and they are now NLA (no longer available).
Instead... you need to order 865329A02 Rear Mount Kit for $ 38.00.
This new Rear Mount Kit will include both rear mounts and new style washers.
It will include instructions.
The old spring washer is no longer used.
The new mounts have a knurled or jagged surface on the bottom.
Make sure you follow the new instructions and get your engine alignment perfect.
